Located right on the prime waterfront site, where romantic dhows sail out to sea on each high tide, the lodge offers a classic island experience, and with just 9 luxury rooms assures guests of exceptional service and flexibility.

Encounter empty stretches of beaches and explore some of the world's richest coral reefs. Discover a coastline fringed by tropical islands on an ancient Arab Dhow - still built to the same design as the vessels which a thousand years ago sailed from India. Snack on cashew nuts and tropical fruit and dine on the freshest of seafood of every description. Explore ancient forts and long abandoned street. Ibo Island is a destination like no other.

Highlights

The large, en-suite, air conditioned luxurious rooms are individually designed, and boast antiques and handcrafted furniture, with magnificent carved wooden doors and shutters that evoke the buildings original design.
The wide verandas are adorned with mahogany and teak day beds, carved by some of the islands most skilled artists and decorated with the softest of cushions covered in vibrant local fabrics.
All nine bedrooms are individual and feature a king size 4poster, or twin hand crafted bed with crisp cotton linen and Indian silk throws.
Wide verandas are a traditional feature of all Ibo mansions, but we widened ours considerably to house comfortable plantation style chairs.
